Cleanliness Program

On 4th August 2025, on behalf of Vidyasindhu Foundation, Director Anupama Shivare organized a cleanliness program in collaboration with Model School, Vashi. The initiative saw active engagement of the school’s principal, teachers, students and support from Navi Mumbai Nagarpalika. The program aimed to raise awareness about hygiene and environmental care, promoting community involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy environment. Students, teachers joined hands in hand and participated in this action. It was a successful step toward civic responsibility and cleanliness.

Education

Education is the most powerful weapon to overcome life’s challenges. Yet, marginalized communities like SC, ST, OBC, and Tribals often remain underserved. We work to bridge this gap by taking some vital actions—spreading awareness of government schemes, providing study materials, and offering financial support. Our mission is to inspire these students to pursue education, represent their communities proudly, and build a brighter, more equitable future.

Yoga Classes

We conduct regular yoga training sessions to promote physical and mental well-being. These sessions raise awareness about the benefits of yoga and naturopathy. Yoga requires no financial investment—just commitment—and offers immense health advantages. Over 100 participants attend each session, reflecting the community’s growing interest in a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to make wellness accessible to everyone through simple, effective practices.

Tribal development

Our core mission is the holistic development of tribal communities across Maharashtra. We focus on improving their education, healthcare, and economic conditions. We are spreading awareness about government welfare schemes and helping them access these benefits. Basically, we want to empower tribal families to improve their living standards. Every step we take is aimed at bringing these communities forward, ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they deserve.

Women Empowerment

Women’s financial empowerment is vital for societal progress. We provide free tailoring training to women, helping them gain valuable skills for income generation. Our program fosters self-reliance and confidence, allowing women to support their families and communities. Through this initiative, we aim to create a network of strong, independent women who are capable of shaping a better and more equitable future for all.

Employment Generation

Earning a livelihood is key to solving financial problems and achieving self-reliance. At Vidyasindhu Foundation, we believe that everyone—regardless of gender or background—deserves the opportunity to earn with dignity. We support individuals from tribal and marginalized communities by providing skill development, training, and employment opportunities. Our goal is to create a path toward sustainable income and economic independence for every deserving person.

Swachhata Program

Cleanliness is essential for a healthy environment and society. Our Swachhata Program involves local clean-up drives and awareness campaigns in homes, schools, and public places. We engage community members in discussions about hygiene and environmental responsibility. We are encouraging active participation, and we aim to instil lasting habits that contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for all.
